Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway from her side, gave her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music for a love rather than a profession. Thus, she began with her own music. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. Her mother had told her the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her however, but to encourage people to realize the importance of their work and influence to this world, she started performing them publicly. She started playing piano when she was just six and began writing music at the age of nine. The family did not know until the age of 14. The dream was never to turn into Aurora. Her only passion is to compose music. According to her, the songs she creates are how she feels about everything.
